Benefits of Buy Local ILM Business Membership
Buy Local ILM reaches thousands of Wilmington residents every day. The organization, staffed fully by volunteers, works daily to educate the public on the importance of buying local. This education includes disseminating information via Twitter, Facebook, print interviews and television interviews among others. By becoming a member of this organization you are helping to spread the word on how important it is to keep buying dollars local. In addition to this benefit, your membership also allows your business the following:
1. Listing in the business directory on www.buylocalilm.com Listing will include business name, phone number, web address with link to website, physical location (if applicable) and business logo.
2. A sticker to place in your window that identifies you as a local business.
3. One article per year in the Buy Local ILM E-Newsletter (bimonthly publication)*
4. One mention on Buy Local ILM’s Facebook page each month*
5. One mention in Buy Local ILM’s Twitter stream each week*
6. Unlimited events posted on the Buy Local ILM Calendar*
* Business owner is responsible to submit articles and information to Buy Local ILM for inclusion. Information must be in ready to use format, needing no revision or editing.
Members will also have the opportunity to purchase advertising on the Buy Local ILM website and also in the Buy Local ILM Newsletter.
There is a minimal cost involved with becoming a business member of Buy Local ILM. Your membership fee will help pay the costs associated with having and maintaining a website as well as any promotional materials, stickers, etc.
The fee structure is as follows:
One year membership – $120 ($10 a month)
6 month membership – $72 ($12 a month)
3 month membership – $45 ($15 a month)
Month to month membership – $20
